Finally when we thought Autospeed was safe to read!

Quote
"Finally, you'll notice that I am back in the editor's chair. AutoSpeed's parent company - Web Publications - made the decision to not continue the relationship with Glenn Torrens in the position of editor primarily on the grounds of differing editorial philosophies. Glenn will continue to contribute occasional pieces."

Well thats it, if Julian "I hate Ford" Edgar is back in the chair we can only look foward to more Ford Bashings and Holden Based stories, not to forget the rice articles!

Well done Autospeed, you have just lost my subsciption!

They had a winning editor, Glenn Torrens, bring him Back I say!

I just came here to see if that had already been posted.

Damn, the editions under Glenn's editorship had been the best to date. Back to the ricer mods I guess.

Youre all forgetting Julian Edgar loves the Falcon Six and the modular V8s.

Edgar wrote a piece on the new Falcon Six, comparing it (quite rightly) to the BMW M3 I6. Edgar also commented on the Mustang 4.6 V8, stating what a good motor it is (pity about the build quality though).

If the build quality of the BA is up to scratch, then more than likely, it'll win praise from Edgar. I have read a fair few articles from Edgar, and I'd have to say that he gives credit where its due - technological advancements tend to garner the most praise from him.

Wait till he gets into a BA and starts writing about it.. I'd be interested to see what he has to say about the vehicle.

They still send me the weekly article even though my membership expired 8 months ago. Was almost thinking about joining back up but not a chance now. "Differing editorial philosophies" is a euphemism for "we have our own narrow point of view and everyone else is wrong".
