I just got home from my girlfriends house.
I was pulled over for speeding so I asked the policeman how fast I was going and he didnt have an answer for me so I got a fine for not displaying a P plate on the front of mums car.

Im so pissed off right now. Its 3 points and $107. I dont really care about the money but 3 points is ridiculous.

How is not displaying a P plate at the front of the car ( there was one on the rear) just as dangerous as doing 20+ over the limit?
Im off my P's in 2 months and have no previous traffic infringements before this.

The only reason it wasnt there is cos the workshop is taking forever with my stupid car and I had to drive mums car and I could only find 1 P plate. Im not happy.

Sounds like the cop was determined to find something to fine you for. At least he didn't get you for speeding and not dispaling Ps.

You were clearly a dangerous menace to society that, left unchecked without that front P Plate, would have caused untold carnage and mayhem everywhere you went.

Either that or the cop was a dick, you choose.

I was only doing 50 in a 60 zone. I spotted them before I had even turned onto the street. Those divvy vans stick out like dogs balls.

this happened to me!!

I got done and because I had my window down, the air blew off my rear P plate onto the back seat and he still did me for it.\

They think they are teaching you a lesson....just pay it mate you have no choice

Wat a cokhead, i hate it how they make it a personal mission to get you for something, anything if they cant on teh original charge. Not all cops, ive been let off as many times for not having Ps as i have been done for them. Being a P-plater that means u only have 2 points left. Lucky u didnt lose ur licence, since u got the turbo EB comin soon.

What do we have to do to get rid of these ridiculous laws????

Shit! I forgot about that 5 point thing. Does that apply to all P platers or only ones that that got their P's after that law came in?
Other than driving through breath testing stations this is the 1st time Ive ever been pulled over. Im not even a Hoon!

Does anyone know If i get all my points back after Im off my P's?

I couldnt believe he did me for that. Of all the reasons to lose 3 points that would have to be the worst. I was doing 10 below the limit in a quiet street with absolutely no other traffic around and he feels the need to pull me over.
Im so annoyed.

What about the time I drove a car above the power to weight ratio, no P-Plates, on a club permit outside a club event?

Seriously, why can't they police real crime? Sure pull you up, give you a warning and then go find someone who's actually being a menace to society.

Or just pull you up, rack up another for his tally on the cork board at his station, then off to sit behind a bush at the bottom of a hill for a few hours.
