Ford Australia Website - is now useable!
The last time I visited the Ford Australia Website to do a configure-and-price I had a hard time telling what stuff was included, and what the accessories looked like.
Well, today I went to check out the AUIII, and it was a much better experience. I felt, since last time around I bagged it out a little bit, that this time around it deserves a bit more of a rap. For the guy who posts on this site from Ford IT - well done. Pass it onto your co-workers.
One thing got me though. The Forte Manual V8 lists itself as having mandatory LSD and Sports Suspension. But in the list of options, these items are still there unticked. Does this mean that the items are already included in the base price, or do I have to tick them?
The IRS looks mighty tempting, even if it will go slower than an XR6 HP, this is my only chance to go for a V8!
Also, I read on this Forum that the V8 will be offered in dual fuel or dedicated LPG. Does anyone know - and this is directed at the IT guys if they are watching - if this this far away from being shown on the website?
