anybody notice the ad with the series 2 commy. Dont know if its a new or old holden colour but it looks likes fords phantom purple. (not trying to start a s*it fight). My missus thought at first it was finally a falcon ad.

rip off? I believe there were a few VX HSV's in purple... correct me if I'm wrong? seen with my own eyes and asked the owner if it was a respray and upon asking he told me it was original.

Yep, purple is a new colour on the series 2 VY. My wife got one last week as a company car. VY series II "S". Not a bad car, however its got nothing on the falcon. I can't believe how harsh and underpowered the engine is. The car sounds like its struggling most of the time. Its got traction control, don't know why, the thing would stuggle to spin its wheels........
