Thanks to the ford dealer at RYDE ( sydney NSW ). For the invitiation to the "BARRA" launch party. I arrived with my brother and stood there for about 15min wondering where the party was. We then figured we would asked one of the sales reps ( thinking maybe we had the wrong date ). " Barra Launch " ????- hah ?????????/ what launch??. Then it clicked in his head ( the sales rep that is ) - Oh yes - we cancelled that. Sorry about that.

Warning to all people with invitations - ring before you go to a Ford party. The food is not very good and you might get hungry.

So 1.5 hrs later and 1/2 a tank of fuel. No Barra, No launch, no party.

POOH. - PMO bigtime. Not very good Mr Ford at ryde - get your act togther.

How did you get the invitation - was it a mail-out?

Would have expected they would offer you just a little more than an apology - how about a new XT? or an XR6-T for all your trouble...heheheh.

Yep, i got a hand written invitation. We were so excited at the thought of getting a test drive in the BA. Only to get there and ..... nothing - they did offer to drive the car to our place on another day for a test drive. I work at night ( yep, i even chucked a sickie to go to this party.). Brother works day and up to midnight and I worked all night. Couldn't be bothered with them.

went home and kicked the dog :-(
