Ford Delear with VY on display ...

Stillwell's industrious sales staff have rented a VY Commodore for a few weeks to put on display next to the BA.

It is sitting right out the front of the dealership - and does look very strange amongst a throng of beautiful BAs !!

I took it for a drive yesterday and must admit - it feels quite unresponsive cf Barra. Also the steering at parking speeds is almost like my old Val (doesn't feel like it has power steering at all)

What do you guys think about this ?

When was the last time that a Ford dealer could be so confident about showing the two models side-by-side?

Etheridge ford in Ringwood has also done the same thing. A white VY exec amongst a sea of Barras. In this instance it seems more of a case of a thorn amongst the roses.

I agree, good idea. People who are unsure of what to buy between falcon and commodore can sit in or drive both and see why all the magazines have the falcon as a clear winner, plus the salesmen there can work their magic on the converts...
