ok, I know all of you are going to think I'm crazy or something. But this has crossed my mind several times. I have a 1967 Thrunderbird that has a 428/C6 and I found a 1955 Chevy pickup I am going to install that engine in that truck and make allot of people crazy. The one thing I would like to know is do any of you guys know any tricks or bang for the bucks that I can do to the 428 to pep it up? I want to make sure it runs good before I tell people whats under the hood. I'm doing this to let people know they cant just take chevy engines and install them in ford cars/trucks. I've seen it done my whole life.

Go for it.

It's quite common for Chev's to be put in other vehicles so I don't see why it should matter to put Ford engines in others.

I've seen Windsor's placed in all sorts of engine bay's before.

too many people are raping a Ford by putting a Chev engine in there for "performance Reasons" its about time som1 turned the tables.
