Does anyone know what font the word Ford is written in? In the badges, i mean.

Is it even a font or is it just some caligraphy thats been copied for years?

That my friend is how Henry Ford wrote the word. The font, as far as I know is not existant. :poop:

I don't think that's a joke. If I remember correctly the Ford Model T had the same FORD insignia (without the oval) on the front of the top of the radiator.

Well I believe the font was created by somebody hired by Henry Ford, not made up by Ford himself.

The font does/did exist, going from memory, it was taken from an old font set found hanging around by Henry Fords assistant (an accountant I think). I have an article on it somewhere, will try to dig it up tonight.
