Ford Forums Chat Instructions
For those new guys wondering how to chat with other forums members, we have our own IRC channel, and it is not that hard to access...
We will also have a java chat client inplemented in the forums soon so chatting amongst one another will become even simpler.

Here are the directions on how to access the IRC Chanel:


  1. Download and Install mIRC from www.mirc.com

  2. Run the program

  3. When you pass the splash screen you will see the mIRC options screen, click the add buton.

  4. Enter a description (Fordforums will do) then in IRC server, enter irc.autoforumscentral.com then click ok

  5. Click connect to IRC server

  6. Close the "mIRC CHANNELS FOLDER"

  7. To join fordforums chat (I am currently trying to register the room as I type this) type /join #fordforums

Yeah it aint too hard. Just do those instructions and come on in. The more the merrier and better it is for everybody. I encourage everyone to come along.

Guys i'd reccomend everyone to Use the Ford Forum IRC chat via Mirc. Sorry talkin computer jargon but it'd the best way for us to chat live.

A few of us were getting very very stressed and pissed off with the ICQ chat. I know i bloody was. Not once did it work properly. There was always someone who can't see someone.

Also we should organise a meeting time so we can get a good number of members in there.
