Us Northerners don't get to drive that road very often.
Might be best handled over more than one day, which could cause some organisational nightmares. Gurdies are the sponsors of the forums no? Could be a good idea to visit them as John said.
Just hope it's not raining... Haven't been for a cruise yet where it hasn't rained!
well we could try to go down to Lorne again or further down to say the 12 apostles. Of course I dont know where anything is out there so i can be speaking out me bum.
Melbourne to Port Campbell (which is where the 12 apostles are) is a fair trip, i did it last year staying in Lorne overnight as a treat for the missus but it's probably a fair trip for 1 day. It took about 3 hrs (i think) to Lorne with stops then another 2-2.5 to Port campbell, so in a day it's a fair trip up and back.
But if it's on, its one of the best driving roads in the country, with a mixture of beach, forest, hills and straights!

Actually thats a good idea. Did it a couple of years back in a troup carrier, a great drive, and great view. One for the interstaters to see.
