Just came from the F&H Nationals (they call it the holden and Ford, but we know they have it ass backwards!). It was great!! First car show I have been to that really gave me bang for buck. Saw a REAL AC Cobra, not to mention some awesome old race Fords and mean streeters. Saw that 'Pimpin' wagon on the Dyno, crazy car with Balls. Any one else GO? What do you reckon?
I entered my XC COBRA and thought it was a very poorly organized event, don't get me wrong there where some great car's there, but in all for an event that was suposed to be the state national's it was very poor indeed. The all Ford Day at Kedron last year was a shite load better, more car's, fairer judging and the like. Definately not worth the money the missus and I spent to enter.
Nathan.

Whoops Gotta disagree with you there Cobra #207. I'm on the other end of the spectrum. It will take some VERY good cars to get me back to the all Ford day. I saw your XC, very nice and original. Does your comment of "Fairer judging" give away what fuels your dislike? The judge was THE Owen Webb, you can't get much better than that. It is your comment on the judging and stating that the All Ford Day is fairer that leads to my disagreeance. Take the time next year to follow around the judges at the AFD and listen to what they are talking about. Personal opinion is rife and that's not right, not to mention down right unproffesional. Fast Eddy and his team bust there asses to put the day together, judges who go for certain colour preferences pull it apart.
Ultimately, at the end of every show there are winners and losers, people go away disgruntled and vow never to come back. That is why some shows have adopted the "every child wins a prize" mentality, to combat this flaw in human nature. Either way your Cobra was a winner in my book (I wish you lit it up when you were leaving though :-). Ned.
PS. They should have had YOU next to the AC Cobra, not that bloody HR Convertible.
Nedwob, nah not pissed cause I did'nt get a trophy, just pissed cause of the catagories that they put on the trophies into, most were in 10 year age bracket's. Yeah I think that's where I should have been too.
Thank's for your nice comment's mate say hi next time.
