I just recieved my renewal for my GT-P and its gone from $2,400 to $3,700. what a joke are they serious that they think people will re-insure at a price hike like that.Dont they realise you will get from another company.
I seems to me that Ford needs a new research team as a lot of things they are coming up with are simply DUM ideas.

I spoke to them about insuring my car. I know a guy with the exact same car and exact same mods and i was quoted $400 bucks more even though we are the same age/rating etc. When i asked why they said that they have just changed underwriters (the company who actually supply the policies, i think they now use GIO) and that is why prices have risen.

When i had my old EL with them, it went from $380 to about $650 in 1 year and they hadnt changed underwriters then...

Ford insure is now underwritten by swann insurance there a over priced company that specializes in motorbikes, when I just recently re insured my brothers AU they told me gio will hold all existing policy’s for 1 more year that’s why they don’t care what they charge after this year swann will hold all existing policies...hopefully things will settle down then..

XRFPV8 is right, swann insurance are now the underwriters and their pricing is ludicrous. You could find cheaper from many other insurers.
