I dont know about 1/4 mile times, but I do know that I've nearly killed myself several times in my KQ Laser.

I keep forgetting that I'm not in the XR and trying to accelerate into gaps in the traffic only to remember at the last moment!

Ive heard of people cracking into the 15s with just bolt-ons from the Pintara/Corsair 2.4, not a bad little engine, pity about the rest of the car...

Guy from work recons his 5spd tx3 1.6turbo AWD will poo on me, what do you's think? (My cars a EF Falcon)
Think he has increased boost slightly, but thats it

Depends Jase. I've been beat by a 1.6 AWD Turbo TX3, but only until the high end of second gear when I went past him.

If they launch at high RPM, you'll never get near them in traction, but you'll be sure to bring them in later down the strip.

PS. Ive got a EF XR6 w/ exhaust and filter, thats all. I've had a run with two 1.6 AWD TX3's, same result.

My sisters 5spd manual KH? TX3 with extractors,exhaust gets 15.8 on the quater mile, with a lot of spin off the line. Now shes ported the heads and a few little things so it would do a bit better.

On the street shes blown away someone in the 4wd turbo version and heaps of commodore 6 poppers.

I gotta admit those things are very zippy :)
