The other day, I saw a cab-chassis Falcon Ute, Acid Rush colour, with an XR6 front end. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the front mount intercooler from the XR6 Turbo. As far as I know, XR Utes aren't available as cab-chassis, only "style-side box" or whatever Ford calls it. This seems like a custom order to me.. but it'd be a great competitor for Holden's One Tonner...
Nope, all the Falcon utes are available like that. There's a sliver XR6T Trayback in town where I am, and I've seen a green XR8 trayback witha nice wood tray - looked bloody nice.

It might of been an APS ute i know they have one similar to what you are saying in blueprint.
I thought the customer bought the style side XR series ute, and then took the rear off and fitted their own choice of tray... I haven't heard of dealers offering the one tonners on anything above an XLS ute.

The XR utes dont come out with factory trays, you've gotta get them made yourself once you buy the ute. I think you can however just tell the dealer you dont need the back tray, and they reduce the price a little. Don't quote me on that though.
Meh. I've seen a few around. I was next to a BA XR with a tray yesterday that I got excited about. It was a custom colour but looked bloody tough to say the least.
