I was down at Pt Lonsdale in Vic the other day and saw this weird looking left hand drive 'engineering evaluation vehicle' parked below the lighthouse. On closer inspection it turned out to be a Cadillac CTS, registered to the Ford Motor Company Aus.

Good to see Ford looking ahead to the future and ensuring they know what a CTS based Commodore will be like so they can soundly beat it! Although if the Commodore inherits the CTS' styling I think we are pretty safe...

Thats halarious! Do Holden even have one registered yet? Hehe. Ford are certainly on the ball. Now that we have sufficiently out engineered the current offerings, lets now move on to pummel anything else Holden might have up their sleave!

They could also be testing the new Commode IRS. Said to be a very good design.

Holden also had a LHD Lincoln LS that they were testing a while back. These vehicles are not all that uncommon.

The Cadillac I believe uses the "high cost" version of the new worldwide GM Sigma platform.

Holden is developing the "low cost" version of the Sigma platform for GM worldwide (and I thought Holden couldn't design anything themselves).
