It seems Ford has sold the NZ alloy wheel plant for an undisclosed but I expect healthy sum.It seems a shame but the plant will still continue under the new owners.

Not surprised, they have been having alot of quality problems over there. FoMoCo Aust actually sent one of the more brainy blokes, Mark Black, over there to try and help em, from Casting Ops in Aust............obviously too many probs.......

My understanding was the plant was extremely profitable and a high sum has been taken for it.It employed 550 people and exported alot to the USA.
