Arrow Ford to shrink Falcon...

Just reading eNews and there's an article about the Falcon shrinking in size and the possibility of no more Falcon wagon..

Dunno what to make of it really. On one hand I can understand the theory (with Raptor coming out) but on the other I still want my full size XR8 to be available in 10 years time.

What do you guys reckon?

I wonder if this relates to the XR6 and not the 8 or T series?

no more falcon wagons?? yeah right?!?!

what would they replace it with. The wagons are very popular (not only as taxis)

Raptor. AWD or FWD.. Would do a better job than a normal Falcon wagon..

I really hope this is just B.S, but Ford do have a habit of shooting themselves in the foot.

IMO it would mean death to the Falcon here in NZ, people would just buy even more Mondeo's, than what they do now.

What's Geoff saying!!!! He must have had a hard night, well I hope he did.

Making Falcon slightly smaller isn't so much an issue for me, they didn't say how much smaller, if it was to go as small as mondeo, then no, I wouldn't like that.

What worries me is Geoff saying he won't rule out the possibility of a FWD falcon, but he thinks it very unlikely.

Geoff, I would like you to rule that out!

They'd better not bloody shrink it! I have enough trouble getting into mine just as it is...

Being over 2 metres tall sucks the big one.

Maybe it'll just be in length :s2:

If the 2005/6 Falcon is going with a V6 (YECH!) then the bonnet won't need to be as long.
