Lightbulb Ford Transit Van (Old postie van - 1980)

firstly i wanna ask if anyone one knows of any websites that are dedicated to the "old postie vans"?? and if you know could you please let me know.... :)

well i am in the process of buying myself an old postie van to do up... unfortunately i don't know much about them... and i haven't found much information about them... if anyone knows anything that might be important to know?? let me know please :)

if i can think of anything else i will post it up!!! any help will be appreciated! thanks.....

Maybe that's because you asked at aabout 6 or 7 in the morning. :oo3:

going and asking the post office isn't a bad idea.... hahaha...

and yeah i guess it was early!! but i am not expecting a reply immediately...

i still hope that there are more ppl out there that might know some info on the old postie vans 80-81 models.

cant give ou any websites specifically on transit vans. two things to do;

1. use a search engine and type in "ford+transit". that should yield some results.

2. start buying classic ford magazine. can be hard to find, but they deal with british cars from mainly 1970s, but do some earlier and letar stuff. they list websites to do with the classic stuff, mainly escorts, but there are others. they also have the occasional article on a transit van.

i have tried the search engines... but have found very little... i will keep trying tho... and about the magz... that sounds like a excellent idea! i'll try that tomorrow... thanks again. :)
