I will start a new thread for this topic as the old one is a few pages long. Here are the details once again. The proposed dates are October 2-7, 2001. We are trying to plan visits to the Geelong and Broadmeadows sites although exactly what we will be doing at these sites is yet to be decided because there are no public tours at this time. There will also be a tour through the Ford Discovery Centre, a visit to Tickford and a proposed visit to Herrod. Interested people at this stage vary from 20-60 depending on the XR club/s involvement.
Today I had the pleasure of visiting the Lindsay Fox Classic Car Collection. This is not a place normally open to the public, but they offered you guys the chance to come and visit if enough people are interested. The only drawback I guess is that there are no Fords in the Collection. Nevertheless this is a great chance to see some amazing cars and to see the restoration processes used. So... what do you all think? or :thumbdown
If you are new to this forum and are interested in coming along please tell me and let me know approximately how many people will be coming along with you.
