Why is there such a huge rivalry between Ford lovers and Chevy lovers?

I did'nt think there was...Chevy Dudes love Fords don't they??I alway's see Chevy Lovers putting their Engines into Old Ford Hot Rods.Just like I alway's see supposed Ford Hating Holden owners with Ford Parts fitted to their holdens...Like GT Shakers,GT Bonnet Scoops and Nostrils,12-Slotter Rims,9" Diffs,Top-Loaders,XA-B-C Mirrors,XW and XY GT Mirrors,GT Rear Spoilers,GT Bonnet Pins.All of these parts I have seen fitted to Holdens and I have even seen an FJ Holden with a 289 Windsor in it...So deep down,they must really love Ford's and don't want to admit it,LOL !!!

I don't know. I guess it's been that way from the begining here in the US. When the owners of these two companies use to race each other in Daytona at Daytona Beach. It's a fun rivalry though thats been passed down from generation to generation. We all know Ford is better.
