HSV Coupe 4 This AWD enthusiast driver’s dream machine sets a new standard for Australian performance cars. The HSV Coupe 4 transfers 270kW of V8 power to the tarmac through all four wheels via its HSV Quad Drive system, which is calibrated to give exceptional grip in a wide range of surface conditions. Its all-round sports potential is enhanced by a wide track stance, 19x8-inch Pirelli tyres, an AP performance braking system and a responsive ‘low ride’ sport series suspension set-up.
Given a styling treatment that is more Euro-chic than aggressive, the classy Coupe 4 features a Senator-style front facia with high intensity discharge driving lamps, smoothly integrated
wheel arch extensions and a quartet of big bore exhaust outlets. Its extensive standard equipment
is supplemented by such options as a tyre pressure monitoring system and tailored sunroof.
Coupe 4 sounds awesome! Hopefully its performance isn't restricted by heaps of extra weight. Good for australian engineering.. We are really catching up to the others hey!
Ford will no doubt have some kind of show stopper aswell to compete. FPV turbo 6 AWD sounds good right about now hey?
Article mentions 270kW, add approx 150 kg for AWD drive system going by weight gain for Adventra wagon and it most likely won't keep up with Clubby's inspite of all wheel traction.
I jumped to the Ford US website of their GT http://www.fordvehicles.com/fordgt/specs.asp
and converted 500HP to...373kW a GTHO with this output would stagger me,... but I pray your right, only one sleep to go.
