A couple of points though. To be more fair, one should compare Ford Australia to Holden. And unlike XR8, SS has multiple meanings, including overseas GM models.

Yeah using an American search engine to compare Holden and Ford hits is going to result it a clear advantage to Ford obviously.

Now if that counter was representing Ford and Holden sales, I would be a happy man.

well... as it's a US based site, I think most of the "SS" searches would be for the "Impala SS" or "Chevelle SS", not the Commodore. I think the Commodore SS results would be more around the XR8 figures.
