oh my.... okay...here is the low down on this XR8 and XR6 (UTES)
as u all may know Roman is doing their own version of the BA XR8 and XR6 ute...
they are working on a twin turbo XR6 and a twin Turbo XR8.
now hee is what they have done

XR6 TT:the xr6 raptor will be producing in excess or 600bhp (450kW's) with a potential speed of 350kmph (that leaves Holden and pretty mch GM for dead....but thats just for starters)

XR8 TT: the twin turbo 5.4L V8 quad cam "Boss" will be producing betweet 900 and 1100bhp (820kW's!!!!! :s6: ) (sorry HSV) with a potential top speed of over 400kmph!!!!!!!

now this leaves..Lamborghini's...Ferrari's..porsche....HSV dont even come into the picture.....McLaren are gone too....we are messing with the Bugatti W16 Quad turbo!!! (two V8's and 4 turbo chargers!!!) how does ford do it? :s6:

What we need to remember here is that power and speed are not equatable. Larger HP or kW does not mean more higher km/h, while it certainly helps they don't go hand in hand. There would have to be some pretty darn serious tailshaft, gearbox, and diff mods to say the least to support these speeds. Then go on to talk about crank shaft balancing, suspension tweaks and the like.

I'll see some facts before I believe these comments.

u are right there kinda.....but power does matter...not in accellaration maybe (thats tourque) but the more power the higher possible top speeds.......

okay....this may take a while...but hers the facts from auzzie mussle car...

The raptor falcon ute program will develop in stages, right up to the LSR attempt next year. The first stage is the XR6 turbo Raptor concept you see here, which made its public debut at the melborne motor show in march.
The most noticeable exterior changes are the gull-winged oors which have been superbly crafted by hillers. these doors take their styling cues directly from sports cars like Mercedes` legendary 300SL and the butterfly or sissor-style style doors of the lamborghini diablo.

Other more subtle Stage one body mods include a re-crafted rear body panel, where the swage line or top body crease in the style box have been removed. Breaking has been upgraded with fitment or Harrop four-spot callipers on monster ventilited discs. the stardard falcon rare breaks are concidered more than adiquate and have been retumed to match thre new front stompers.

The wheels are alloy Momo Magnums in a massive 20-inch diameter size, shod with pirelli p zero tyres- 23/35/20 up frount and fat 285/30/20 in back...bla bla bla Autotech will creat its own ADR-compliant frount suspention uprights......bla bla

it is envisaged the 6 cylinder engine's intercoolers will be instaled in the fround guards and vent via the door ducting. the v8 will probably need more subtle cooling requirements, with the intercooling located on the frount spoiler....... and then ome history on the roman stuff adn its history......

and stuff abot how autotech and romn are working on everything bla bla bla....if u want to see for ur self get the magazine!!

A 3 Stage NOS induction, decent tranny and driveline, they certainly would have a challenge on their hands!

Goon on Roman for making some nice cars, but comparing them to HSV and Holden is like comparing Eddie Tassones TT Commodore to a stock XR6T ... pretty silly ...
