Finally adjusted the fordforums time so the post corresponds to the real time posted. I guess Eastern Standard Day light saving times aren't taken into account so i found out i have to use the +9hr's GMT, the Tokyo, Seoul, Osaka time.

Anyone else's time not displaying right with the Syndey +10hr's GMT setting.

Yep, I noticed it a few weeks ago but was too lazy to mention it...

Gaz, your post shows up as being posted at 4:40 PM yet I'm typing this at 3:48 PM. I changed my time setting in my profile to GMT+10 so I reckon it's a server issue.

Not a server issue. The problem lies in that the server asyou know is in the US and is set to the US timezone it is in. Here in the states we follow the spring forward fall back deal. Some states here do not follow this.

The server is set correctly on the time. Hence my posts are correct. I think that the issues lies in the software. It does not take in account that all the different issues with TZ's I know that the folks in Certain parts of the US have this issue with the time since they do not observe the changing of the times in the spring or fall.

Doing this change in the forum software is not that hard of a thing. It is just making entries for the new setup and getting a few other details in line. I am not however going to do this since there is a new version...aka...update coming too soon and the changes are supposed to be in there.

Hope that this straightens it out for you some what.

It's not a big issue so i don't want you to go out of your way to change software just to correct time. Besides i've found setting it to +9 hours GMT does the trick. You've already put 120% effort into Ford forums mate.
