I would like to see Ford put this in production with a four cam 5.4L. This would be a perfect answer to the PT Cruiser.

I hope they build it! My only gripe is that it should have just a liiiittttllllle bit more chrome on it, and maybe the rear end could be made a little more like a 49 ford; taillights, bumper style, etc. I'd probably buy one even if they left it like it is anyway!

From what I've read and heard, the 49 is not considered a concept car, but rather a dream car. Ford has no plans to produce this car in any form. This is information I received from the Chicage auto show.
