I thought I should post it in here so we don't get some elitism vibes going out.

re; Google search on fordforums

Would it be possible to have DMs able to use the old style search? It's great to be able to narrow the search down to individual forums. Surely 0.015% of the members using it wouldn't lag the server up?

Even though I just discovered you can still search the old way.

yes there is still the old advanced way. I have not changed the code on that template yet.

I will set up DM privis as soon as this week is up. I want to get some good solid numbers through friday Server time.

So please bear with me.

the advanced search page has dissapeared for me, it just comes up with the side menu bar and the search is not there at all. will it be re-appearing soon?? thanks.

when you click the search link on the right hand side you will see the advance search link on there. No where else. That is where it always has been.

If you are getting google then you need to clear you cookies and cache for this site and try again. If you are still getting that then you need to complain to your ISP for not giving you the correct content on here. Your group access should be publishing the forum search not google.

sorry i didn't describe it very well. the search link is still there and the advance search link is there. but when the advanced search page loads up (http://www.fordforums.com/search.php) its bringing up a page with the side menu and nothing else... this is happening both in firefox and internet explorer.. here is a screen shot attached.
