I love the look of the new FPV logo. It's very nice. The question is, is that the badge they are going to put on the enhanced cars, ala, GT, GT-P? Basically i think i already know the answer, and the answer will be yes.
But, will it take the place of the Ford badge on the car, like HSV's logo? or will it just be supplementary?
In addition, if this badge is to be placed on future enhanced 4 cylinder cars, they are going to have Falcon all over them. The badge has a falcon in the background. Which i love, but will it be suitable for the non-falcon cars? will it build the image of the Falcon more so?
What i'm saying is, maybe it should have incorporated the Ford badge instead of the Falcon.
With the utmost Candour i love the badge, but are they going to use it in the same fashion has HSV?
By the way - the stylised bird head in the Ford Performance Vehicles logo is not a Falcon - it isn't representative of any real bird at all but simply a brand image desinged to dentote power, aggressiveness and grace.

Really? It looks like a falcons noggin. And if it looks like it to me (and others here), then it's bound to look like one to the public?!

Hey Russ,
I appreciate the fact that it is representative of power, aggressiveness and grace, but it is a Falcon.
Nonetheless, the presence of the Falcon on the non-falcon cars just denotes how the Falcon is top of the range IMO. It shall strengthen the image of the Falcon model in the line up.
Who really cares if its a falcon or a pigeon, it's a great badge that should go on any car whther it be a Falcon or not. But I am quite adamant that it is a falcon, I'm sure the reason it is is becasue of the name of the car the badge will be on...

i think the Badge fits in with the whole Gibson Motorsport 00 falcon feel....with the bird and the colours.. everyone knows & loves the look of that car, i can see a large version of that logo fitting the side of the 00 falcon next year......they couldn't go wrong if they did anyhow...
