biggrin Is This The FPV GT's Engine?

Its highly thought-of that this will be the GT's engine (Most likely GTP).
I wanted to make this a new thread, so everyone gets to indulge their senses with such a masterpeice!
So what do you reckon? (Supercharger OR not, for the GT - explains the power bulge alot more) Dreaming?

Taken from GT40 production website - read more here

i reckon if you got it use it, there maybe a purist perspective but if you extrapolate the arguement your back to the old engine

Dont forget this quote from the FPV site...

"Just as the first Falcon GT shared the same engine with the GT40 Mark I, the advanced new engine of the latest GT40 will feature in the next Falcon GT."

ahh 39 days left to find out anyways!
Damn we are always left waiting! It will be a GREAT surprise when it does come though =)

What a beautiful looking engine. Id's say you would need a letterbox bonnet for it to actually close.

Mmmm all-alloy Supercharged V8, 373kw/677nm what a beast!

How much of an Australian engine is the 5.4? Is the WHOLE engine made here, like is it as much an Australian engine as the 4.0L IL6?

Or is it just a uniquly Australianised engine, with a cast iron block and Mustang alloy heads. I still don't even know if its alloy or Iron block, can someone tell me?
