FPV - so I can get my car pre-delivered with them.
From any dealer and fitted - this gives parts more cred and better suitability from an insurance point of view (hopefully)
From a web site - hopefully this is so I can save money on ordering and fit parts myself.
Why would I want a dedicated Perf Parts shop? no point in my mind if I can get them from a ford dealer.
mail order goes hand in hand with the web site imho :)

45,000km service coming up - and i'll be asking for a sizable list of fixes:
* Gearbox (3rd time)
* Steering click (5th time)
* Brake Shudder (2nd time, and has the applied "Fix")
* etc...
Well FPV should supply and fit such item's, but it would be good for us non city folk to have the local dealer supply and fit aswell, that's if you trusted them, but I'd still go to Herrod's to get my aftermarket gear anyway.

They should do a range of parts to suit older Tickford cars aswell.
I think thats going to be a given - and I think thats what the last thread was about :) This is about where you would like to buy your parts for your older tickford car :)

Just one thing with being able to buy them from a website and fit them yourself, I think FPV should either strongly encourage the parts be fitted by a mechanic or say that these parts have no warranty, because if some backyard mechanic fits them and stuffs it up completely, they'd probably try and get a new one out of FPV for nothing.
I wouldnt mind FPV having a workshop attached to the larger dealerships. Parts can be fitted on site by 'experts' who know what they are dealing with and do it day in day out. Add warranty on top of that and people would love it. I would love to be able to buy an FPV exhaust and handling pack from a dealer all under warranty.
OK Ian, didnt see the other thread.
Yes if the parts they sold where at a comparable price to the after market i would buy them.
And what sort of warrenty would they offer?

I'd expect something like 12 months and 15,000 km on some parts when they are 'expertly' fitted by FPV or an FPV outlet.
Fit it yourself and no warranty - unless the part is non-mechanical like sports seats or a race harness.
