had a really quick look at the FPV website the other night



not only did it have a 'heritage' section, this section had cars other than GT falcons. i like my flacons, but it is often forgotten that there are other fords around which had success. the rs500 sierra which creamed everything in oz until the 4wd nissans came along, the gt cortina which was the first car to win at bathurst, and of course, my favourite, the escort. the most succesful rally car ever.

and not only did the site acknowledge the escort, and not only did the site give some history on the escort, and not only did the site have a piccy of the escort....the picture was of a yellow rs2000!!!!!!

i nearly flipped.

i just cant believe that i have influenced david and geoff so much they would put my car (to be...nearly there) on a website.

Yes I noticed this too jerry.

A very good sign. Perhaps we might be in for another hot 4 from ford. RS Focus or perhaps a FPV Turbo Focus.

Either way hats off to FPV and Ford for their accurate depiction of Ford's racing history.

Joe Kenwright puts all that stuff together. I think that I told you earlier that he was on the team. He is one of the best researchers in the country. His work is first class. Hell!! he even got the colour right. How good is that.

Just looking through there now, I think its great how its got info on the models too. Just little snippets I'd overlooked on my travels before hand..

One thing that I find is lacking is that the images that are shown aren't thumbs; It'd be really sweet if I could click on them for a Super High Res pic, so I could have them for backgrounds or something :)

edit: could you guys also put in the Fairlane Marquis please? :)
