Having moved to Wagga Wagga (NSW) from Adelaide, I have been surprised about how many car clubs use Wagga as a central location for all the clubs from across Australia for an annual get together.
So far we have had, Minis, Toranas, jaguars, hillman, BMW car clubs.
So what would be the interest from the FPV & XR clubs across Aust to have a get together mid yearish here in Wagga? Make a weekend or long weekend out of it.
Let me know your thoughts.

Cheers John

that sound fantastic lets do it , though it would have to be somewhere after fpv family day
Just an idea at the moment, seeing what sort of interest there is, before I start any work on it, but what I imagine happening would be.
One of the long weekends, June or October, or another suitable weekend, clubs start rolling into Wagga Friday night or Saturday morning. Meet around lunch time for an informal meeting and chatfest at a nice location with a bit of a show off of the cars, cruise through town and other bits and pieces that may arise or free time.
(Others might arrive during the day)
Sunday put on a show and shine at the Wagga showgrounds or other suitable location, this will attract most of the population of Wagga, if other car club show are anything to go by. After the show sausage sizzle or similar, band, party, whatever.
Monday mass car cruise via some of the great roads around here to a few of the local towns, with lunch somewhere, and then return to Wagga for a quiet night, with farewells.
(Others may have to head off home for work on Tuesday)
Tuesday leave for home.
I know it means a day or 2 off work or whatever, but after observing other clubs having a ball, I would say it would be a great weekend. Of course the days would fit the 3 days of the long weekend, eg, fri, sat, sun, or sat, sun, mon.

yep, very good idea as long as it's not FPV/XR cars only! hehehe.
Ive been wanting to organise a big meet in Wagga for some time now Teza, let me know if i can be of any help etc.
Mate,
At the moment, its just a very wild idea floating around in my head, but Im sure anyone that gets involved in the planning will definitely have an input, so who know how it will develop.
All Im trying to do is canvas for interest, and mate it will be a huge task to organise it, so thats where the club structure is a huge advantage
