I attended a memorial service today for Bruce.

I also celebrated the birth of my newest niece Sarah.

I noticed a friend/collegue of the dearly departed had a blood blister under his fingernail, so did Mick Malthouse on Talking Footy tonight on television.

I watched my beautiful son fall asleep in my arms this evening, a soul that wakes to a new day tomorrow filled with joy and play.

I watched a man today who will wake up tomorrow knowing that he will never see his father again.

So much hurt and joy in one day makes a person reflect on his own life and purpose with-in that life............


People please cherish each day like it was your last, life is beautiful, scary, wonderful and rare, do with it what you will, but have no regret, fear or worry as tomorrow is a new day to savour, experience and enjoy.


Thanks, for listening to the ramblings of a person thrown into the cauldron of life as we know it.

My sincere condolences,i know what you are going through,lost my mum 2 weeks ago and expecting a baby boy come September.The saddest thing is that she missed out on seeing our soon to be baby.But that's life they say.

And I watched our beautiful son wake up this morning and smile at you. And I saw the look on his face when you smiled back. Its the small things that make it all worth it.

Yesterday presented life and death wrapped up together. Both extremes within 8 hours. It's the realisation that when one life ends, the world goes on and another begins.
