one of my friends wants to change the front bar (std) on her AU ute.

i dont want to put an XR one on cos the ute isnt an XR, but really need to do something with it because it looks a bit ordinary at the moment

what aftermarket bars do you guys think look best?

ive only seen the C2R ones so any pics would be fantastic too!

dave, the xr ones look the best, if shes interested, i got one sitting around doing nothing, its only the nosecone, no lights or brackets, so let me know if your interested...

XR bars belong only on XR's.

I think C2R are probably the best of the aftermarket ones.

I agree Shane, but they do look the best.
The AUIII 250 Pursuit bar is the nicest.

does anyone know what sort of dollars the C2R ones are worth? not painted, as we are doing a custom job

phil- how come you have a spare one! i prefer the XR one, but im with casper about the XR fronts are for XRs, although by the time we are finished with this baby it will be a worthy addition to the XR family

I love the XR bar with the big chunky Pursuit lip but my car isnt an XR so im not gonna get one. I like the TS kit because its the only chunky style kit (which i like) that you can get for the AU's.

i was wondering about the possibility of making a bar up from an XR one, but leaving out the round lights so that it wasnt a 'mock xr' but im not too keen on how much bloody work would be involved!!
