Pffft, Need 4 Speed Australian Edition, Crappy graphics but it has TS50's!! Although the need to convert them to RHD, I never knew they made LHD T-Series and HSV GTS's

Reports from Japan state the latest addition to Sony's colossal driving series is 50 percent complete
According to reports emanating from the Far East, Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 4, headed by the mighty Kazunori-san, is now 50 percent complete. Sony has still yet to give any indication when the game may be released but GT4 is expected to be shown at E3 next year.
Little is known about the project but it's widely expected that the latest in the sublime racing series will be an online experience in part. Though nothing has been publicly displayed, GT4 is rumoured to have been already been shown behind closed doors to selected individuals, with those in attendance unsurprisingly amazed by what was on display.
Getting information on GT4 out of Sony is like trying to drag a games journo away from a free bar, but we'll keep our eyes peeled for all further updates. This one's gonna be enormous.

This is from PSW, a UK Playstation 2 magazine.
"The real driving simulator seres has always offered the most comprehensive range of real cars - GT3 amassing over 500 - but that figure looks to be eclipsed by the sequel, which offers a staggering 2,000 real motors. This time around, we can expect to see a large number of convertibles, too - everything from a second hand Mazda MX-5 to a brand new Honda S2000 - all with accurately modelled drivers behind the wheel!
In line with the huge selection of cars, the track count has also been increased to over 100 circuits before any talk of reverse laps. Other features include online play, with players now able to talk to competitors using the telesales headset and, more importantly, compete online against eight rival drivers while gambling away a selection of prized supercars. The possibility of trading mufflers, body kits and racing chips over the net could cause car fans to behave like frenzied playground Pokemon traders.
But perhaps the most ambitious (and judging by your letters and emails, also the most sought after) feature that developer Polyphony is hoping to include is real damage effects for each car, which should mean no more bouncing off boundry walls like a rubber clad Robin Reliant. More details on this very soon."
Huge news for gamers awaiting the 4th installment in the greatest driving simulator of all time. Over 2,000 cars and 100 tracks pretty much makes it a knock as greatest game ever imho, and I'm sure most PS2 owners agree. Expect news on GT4 anytime something breaks.
