Yep, other than the price, I'd be worried about the consequences of that lack of care. It's the same story with a friend of mine who bragged his AU Falcon Forte made it over 100,000 kms without as much as an oil change... but God help the poor bastard who owns the car next, has heaps of problems and then goes around saying Fords are '****'.

i did a 40,000km service on a VX the other day that still had the factory fitted oil filter on it...no services since new, not even the free 1500km...

and a guy at work used to work at a place that had V6 rodeo work cars, no services in 70,000 for on of them!!!!

the motor died - the cams seized in the head, the whole bottom end was FUBAR, obviously not warranty, had to source a second hand V6 from the wreckers for $9000, and thats not a typo - Rodeo motors and auto transmissions are stupidly expensive!
