I go away from the office without net access for two days, and look what happens!

Ford release interior and engine specs and unveil the gorgeous XR8. The XR8 Boss engine is a surprise, as a lot of us were guessing it was going to be an uprated 3 valve/cyl 5.4l. Power outputs for Turbo 6 and Boss XR8 engines are awesome, a big left boot to Holden and SS. Top level Holden car outgunned by a 6 cyl - gotta love that.

FPV unveils itself, and we're given the GT, Pursuit and GT-P. The sketches look wicked, site is great - awesome effort all-round. I'm only wondering about the GT-P name, sounds like something I watch on SpeedWeek with the Nations Cup not a car, was hoping for GTHO instead.

The Ford Aus. snowball continues to roll and grow unabated towards a huge release at the Syd Motor Show. Can't wait to see these things roll out of showrooms and onto the roads enmasse!

Yes, it's a great time for us devotee's, and stuff is happening thick n fast!
Fwor is what I said yesterday when I saw my first Barra on the road. Narooma Blue Falcon, not XR but with XR side skirts and AU2 17's. Man it looked good. Gave the driver a thumbs up as I slowly drove past, to which he gave me a knowing smile in return.:s2:
Then a minute later he gave it a little squirt to get around some traffic.It seemed to pick up quite well. With the blacked out grill being the only masking, it looked like a Mustang in the rear view mirror.
No tailpipe out the back as per T1/T2.
I was impressed.
