Gary Myers' Stang is Street Machine of the Year
I know lots of u guys don't read street machine all that often so just lettin u know that the 1966 Stang of Gary Myers won Street Machine of the Year. Darn good effort i reckon in a land dominated by Modified Holden/Monaro fans. The Stang has been salt lakes racin too it seems and has a new interior-i look forward to seeing it at this years Summernats again.

Gary Myers' Stang
Good onya Gary, Ford still rules.
Talking about Street Machine, did anyone happen to notice in the october edition on page 40??
VN Crappadore, quite well presented, and under shiftin' gear:
Gearbox:Ford Toploader 4-speed
Diff:Ford nine-inch
Well, what can i say? Usually it's just ford nine-inch,but now the box, what next????? 302 or 351????????? Or maybe one of our big blocks?

Well - behind every great holden is a FORD diff and/or gearbox !!
(and dont say there are no great holdens.. I will never own one - but I can admire them.... sometimes.... only when they really deserve it)

I'd love to hear the sound bytes of Gary's blown Stang going past at 250km/h - it'd be bloody awesome!:rtongue: :rtongue: :rcool:
