I gave up on waiting to get the new Barra XR8 falcon. I bought an Import Toyota Chaser. 206Kw from a twin turbo 2.5 six.

Just got sick of all the BS and waiting. Maybe you all can, but I can’t live on deferred joy.

I must admit I don't know what a Chaser is. But if it's anything like a Soarer, it hasn't got much in common with a Falcon anyway.

The hype is because this is a very important model for Ford. I don't particularly have time for being spoon-fed details about every nook and crannie of the new Falcon, but the important thing is that the product and its marketing is spot on overall.

Basically it the same size as a Falcon and a four door. Rear drive 2.5l inline six, DOHC twin turbo. Dusts of my friends 220 XR from a standing start.

All the mod cons you expect from a jap car.

A Chaser is basically a RWD Avalon.
Its about as quick as an XR8, with the handling of a Fairlane

Dunno why Toyota didnt sell this here instead of the FWD US one we got.....
