Thanks must go to Jesmol on the uteman.com.au website for directing me to this place. I LOVE IT! I have only just joined and there is so much to read and look at, I could be here all day or week :)
A little about myself. My name is Simon and I live in that small klingon island called Tassie. Many other Tassie people on here? I saw there is a guy from the Tas XR Club - heh, didnt know we had one! Has it got a website?
Anyway, Im 18 and have been a FORD man all my life. Following in the footsteps of my pop (oh and dad!). I drive a XB ute which is undergoing a heart transplant. It is getting a 96 (?) model XR6 and 5 speed shoved in. At the moment it is just running a Webber carb. Havent got it back from the mechanic yet as they got sent the wrong gearbox, so I have to wait a bit longer.
Im off to browse the forums, have a good one all..
Simon
I didnt' see this thread and posted details in the other thread you replied to.
Welcome to the site.
Does the club have a web site. Yes it does. We are awaiting final approval form David Flint before it can be opened to the public. It runs ok in test mode now, or so I am told.
You are extremely welcome to come along to any club function. Should this be something of interest I would be only to pleased to forward you any information you should require.
