High-compression Terminator head gasket engineered for supercharged application allows extra margins of sealing strength for non-supercharged Boss 290 application.

That's because they lifted compression by about half a point or thereabouts - I think over 10:1 isn't it?

Makes you wonder how much more it can stand eh? Like maybe 6psi?

Why sprung? Terminator was the model development code for the '03 Mustang Cobra. Boss 290 is based on the '03 Cobra Engine program.

Yes, but...

...for non-supercharged Boss 290 application.

Why say this sort of thing if it doesn't exist?

maybe it is just stating that it isnt supercharged. your reading to much into it.

Well, you have got to think if Ford is to release a HOey then something extra would have to be done. The superchargers on the Mustangs are a piece of piss fit-wise when you see them... I reckon one would fit under a certain bulgin bonnet without too many dramas.

Didn't the FPV Site also say that that the GT-P would share it's engine with the 372kW GT40 Mark II?
