Getting there............Slowly!

Just a few update pics.

Finished the motor over the weekend, still need an EF/EL rocker cover if anyone has one.

Should be getting on with body and interior work pretty soon. Getting a fully sick tacho for xmas of the gf and hopefully a few more bits and pieces of the olds.

Also picked these up off Ebay at a GREAT price!! They're obviously going to need a bit of modification to fit, but I just couldn't go past them for the price!

It's one of EB_6_ON_N20's. It's a solid bit bit of gear, it's so bloody heavy!

I'm sending the turbo off for a rebuild after xmas to as well as getting it hi-flowed.

Re: Getting there............Slowly!

Nice work! Are you going petrol? I am buying a brand new 550hp walbro drop in fuel pump for $160 this week. Do you want the details? They are usually $300. Im getting one for later.

That engine looks sexy as. Did you put it all together? I cant wait to start on another engine. Im not sure how long a 300,000km engine can go on with 202rwkw.

Re: Getting there............Slowly!

Yeah going petrol with an EMS 8860. A fuel pump would be great! But haven't got much dosh atm unfortunately :(

I built the engine myself, dunno whether thats a good thing or not :/
Nah I was surprised at how easy it was to do. Hardest bit was getting the pistons in using a dodgy old ring compressor. I've still got to figure out all the oil feed and return connections for the turbo. Dan how is yours setup?

Re: Getting there............Slowly!

I need to get an engine crane, they're all too expensive though! The stand was a cheapy, was about $80 from memory. It's strong as though.
