Read 'Glorification of Speed'

G'day Everyone,

I know this may not be posted in the right seciton but hey.. its worth a try...

Im currently researching on the topic of the ban of specific advertising that glorifies speed for an enlish presentation. My only problem is that i am finding it hard to find any old newspaper articles as today you need to be members to database sites (eg. lexis nexis)

Also, i have having trouble finding screenshots of particular ads that are in question. This include the MX-5, Corrolla, Escape (beach soccer), Monaro (game over), Laser SR2.

If anyone out there has access to resources of this kind, it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Cam :bcool:

I strongly recommend magazine articles. If you are in Vic, there is a store on Burke Road, Camberwell called Motor Book World. Just grab any Wheels or Motor mag from the past few years and you'll be sure to get some info.

Good luck.

There's some articles at drive.com.au about it (no pics though).
