Todays daily telegraph artical, did anyone read it?
well if you havent here are a few quotes. " Commodores that look like magna's. Falcons that look like commodores Whats going on in the new car market?" Falcons that look like commodores! Pffft, all i can say to that is Pffft. I think these holden dealers are dreaming. The Falcon has very similar lines- it used to be a very different-looking car[to the Commodore]". I beleive it still is different. Quote " another holden dealer said: ford have made their presence felt, but it isn't worrying us."
Well um what can i say, i beleive the bit about the magna rear end but i cant really say that the Ba Shares much of the Vy styling, thats for sure. I can see( but only just) how they can say it has similarities to the Vx. but no way for the Vy.

dont believe the ba looks like the vy either.....little bit like the vx though (note little).
they were sort of bagging the manufacturers for not being original (well thats the impression i got!), maybe they should be bagging the public! ford tried to be different with the AU and it hurt them badly, aussie public want something theyre used too - too different and it scares them!
as if the other manufacturers wouldnt be a little worried thinking/designing outside the box!
to people that know nothing about cars there are small cars, big cars and sports cars.. so anything that fits in a category looks the same as others. Some people just want to see their name in print so spout rubbish to whoever will listen.
The reason the subjuct of the ba being mechanically better is because these f******** reporters didn't bother to talk to anyone from ford, this artical was a point of veiw from only one side(holden) so of couse they are not going to mention the plain obvious on why ford is gaining some ground. I wish we had some law that made it illegal for articals containing veiws from only one side of the fence!!!!!!!!!!!!
