GoAuto drive impressions of VY

GoAuto has a bit of a VY write up including some first drive impressions of the Executive, Calais and the SV8.

Quote:
After driving the VY there's no doubting where Holden has placed its emphasis for this car - on changing the looks.
Check it out fellas HERE

Looking good for the BA! :s6:

Other detail engineering changes include a plenum wind deflector in front of the windscreen and wind tunnel designed exterior mirrors that reduce wind noise by 2.5 and 3dBA respectively.
Notice how the mirrors are very similar to the AU / BA mirrors....

I think this sums it up quite nicely:

Quote:
Better steering and a skerrick more peak power and torque make the SV8 a slightly more rewarding drive than the previous SS, but you'll have to go looking for the improvement.

Red face VZ 2004

In another artical GoAuto mention the Vy will go to 2004 then be update by the Vz and then the Ve will appear in 2006.

looks like the Vy is a hack job until the new V6 gets here.
