Good Ford Dealers in MELBOURNE

Anyone recommend a good Ford dealer in Melbourne. Strapp Ford is very good but I want to know which ones to avoid at all costs, here's one to get you started

A good one was Brian Glynn Ford in Lilydale- was walking past and I was greeted by a senior salesman, who offered a a good look at the BA, allowed me to open the hood and gave me plenty of info, I am a 20 year old male, by the way and he treated me that way.

The bad one was Knox Ford, in Ferntree Gully, terrible service, told to go away, when walking around having a squizz at another BA, I went to two dealers to get a look at a range of BA models. Knox Ford are definitely shizenhausen(Rex Hunt speak for shithouse, anyone else had a problem with them)

President Ford in Elsternwick - if you can, ask for Gary Barratt.

Gary provided me with a great sales experience and the service department is great. Honest, know their stuff and if anything on the side of caution when dealing with problems of your car.

Nothing but a positive experience.

BA XR6 - December 2002 ~ Soon to disappear if Ford CRC can't fix it....

45,000km service coming up - and i'll be asking for a sizable list of fixes:
* Gearbox (3rd time)
* Steering click (5th time)
* Brake Shudder (2nd time, and has the applied "Fix")
* etc...

Out of all the ones Ive been to I can truly reccommend only 2; Strapp Ford (Both Burwood or Doncaster are good but I prefer Burwood) and City Ford.

I will never ever ever ever ever buy ANYTHING from president ford...ever.

We rang once to ask about sponsorship for our targa venture.. and were told "Get F****D" and that's a quote.

If they were last ford dealer in the world I would buy a holden

Don't say that dude. Never buy Holden. Just ask Ford for the sponsorship and I bet they will help you out.

it wasn't the rejection .. it was the attitude... I already have a dealer picked out (Wignall in Frankston) when I feel comfortable enough in the job I am in to buy a car... My brother got a 2nd hand car from them and they were fantastic..and not once did I get told to F Off!!

I've had dealings with Strapps in Doncaster & found them to be great. Any dramas quickly became no dramas.

Highly recommended from an extremely fussy person.

Good service is easy to find. Just ask FM or RUSSW Strapp in Burwood is damm good and probably closer to you.
