why is it that holden now are able to bring in the new barina, astra, and vetra but frod arnt able to bring in the focus, fiesta, etc? ford really needs a stronger linup to get back into the sales race.

Unfortunately because Ford Oz doesn't seem to have as many export "credits" as Holden anything they try to import gets slugged a lot more than the equivalent Holden product. That's the basic idea of it i think (to try to increase exports). I think Ford should really bust their rings to get the Focus here, could even get a cult following better than the Sierra Cosworth.

It's amazing too that the Walky was such a flop but is revered by Holdan people these days I don't get it

I think Ford might not bring out the festia because their isnt much money in small cars because the Barina lost money for Holden so the Festia might loose money for Ford and were already doing that.
