last nite i was out cruising with Sunny, his brother and a mate. We were coming out of Bayswater Macca's when I got pulled over by a motorbike cop who gave the car a canary. The main reason he defected the car was because it was too low. Only 80mm of ground clearance in some areas when it needs to be 100mm. He measured it with 3 dudes in the car tho! I'm hoping it will go back to 100mm with just me in the car and no sub box or fuel. I can't be bothered getting the springs changed again. As he was going over the car I could see he was struggling to find any un-roadworthy items. Everything else was just small stuff - pod filter not on a metal bracket, battery was loose, front end alignment requried, no padding in center of steering wheel. All that stuff you can fix in half a day. I was quite suprised he didn't have a problem with the exhaust noise or the monster tacho. This guy just seemed interested in basic safety items such as the condition of seatbelts and making sure all my lights were working.
crap :/
not havin much luck with the ride height there.
ur springs are lower then superlows eh?
i reckon with no one in the car and stuff pulled out u should get the height back up again.

spewin man, yeah when i was young n sto0pid i cut my springs 2 coils each and put low profiles on, used to get pulled over at least 3 times every week.
These days its pretty standard height but i get yellow's for other shit like my 5th one i just got..
the ride height must be checked with no one in the vehical.
That's actually not true, they can (and will) tell whoever was in the car at the time to get back in and then check the ride height. They can't however tell your mates to get in if they weren't in the car to begin with.
Where do you have to get the defects taken off? Cop shop or defect station? Monster tacho is an automatic RTA inspection in SA, because the tacho somehow forms part of the motor....

So why didn't your mates get out of the car to get some extra mm?
I was the other guy in the car, we were about to get out and the cop said "get your asses back the car I never told you to get out" so that wasn't very fair. The cop was an asshole.....
