yep, received MOTOR today...and not a mention about the 220kw XR8, not even for next month:rolleyes: :eek:

The only Ford related news was in the hot bits section that says

There was also a small article on a hotted up Falcon Ute (looks great

Tonneau cover cover can be either hard or soft. Engine upgrades are staggered, a 30kw increase, a 55kw increase and a 80 kw increase, they mention that thet will have a 5.6L Stroker available in a month also.

Could Ford be supplying the aftermarket fellas with their strokers :WH:

Yeah it is a bit ay.. Especially when it's such an exciting time to be a Ford fan.. Oh well.. here's hoping for next month.. :(

there's something not right here. I remember reading about those engine figures somewhere else, just cant remember where. where's my extinct magazine rack, oh thats right in the little room. must go back through the old issues.

Must say Ford have dropped the ball slightly on this one. The cars are being delivered either this week or next and there is no write up at all. They have a couple of mule cars that could have been used (and I was told they did) to at least get the news in peoples face

Are the XR8 ads mentioning anything about the 220 donk JEM??..
If they are it makes you wonder why there was no write up in the mag..

Yeah, the usual "we have ignition" add thats at the begining of the mag has been updated. it now says, "THE LIGHTNING FAST FALCON XR8. NOW CHARGED WITH 220kW."
