Gothika

I just got back from seeing Gothika at Gold Class.
Not even the comfy chairs could keep me from having to be removed from the ceiling with a scalpel!!

Not giving anything away.. But as all the previews implyÖ It is defiantly a scary flick. However it was interesting, different and all round a decent movie.

Iím off now.. To lie awake and avoid the nightmares I will undoubtedly have tonight. (wussy girl that I am!)

..There was a point to this post.
a) Has anyone seen this movie? Any thoughts on it?
b) Has anyone got any good old remedies to induce sleep?

Am thinking of trying the good old warm water and honey trick!!
Hope everyone who sees it this weekend has a good time.

Re: Gothika

Oh wow... I saw it too! What a co-inki-dink!

I would reccommend watching something humourous to get your mind of the scary things....thats what im doing.

Re: Gothika

downloaded it few months back... thought it was alright but thought the ending was rather predictable, bar the husband thingi (not giving anything away)

i'ld rather watch Taking Lives again... a much better flick

Gothika is not scary. well. i didn't think so,.

Re: Gothika

I think it helped that we were in a gold class cinema with really loud sound. Its not so much the visuals that scare you... its when there is a really loud noise or whatever.

You jump out of the seat

Re: Gothika

Gothika was very scary. Lucky I'm tough, I could cope but UNR8D squealed like a little girl the whole way through and I'm pretty sure OED666 spent half the movie snuggled into UNR8D's shoulder For those who haven't seen it - do so but go with people you know. For the evening after the movie, I recommend watching some TV or just something "normal" to get your mind off the paranormal. For those who have seen it, I don't understand something (this is going to be hard to word without giving too much away) but here goes... how come the girl was violent if she wanted to give or receive help with respect to the husband???
