Hey guys, I got a MK II XR8 Ute on order, ordered it start of Oct, and was told it would be at the dealers on the 5th Nov. So i go down the night before to have a look, and have a word with the guy I always buy my cars through. Anyway, to cut a long story short, the car has been pushed back to a 24th Nov start build????? So I gotta wait another month now. And the worst bit is the no one had told the sales guy anything? Apparently after speaking to a few of the senior sales guys, there is a problem with the 6 sp's.... So is anyone else out there, with the Turbo, XR8 or FPV in a similar situation?

If i was you I'd want to cancel my order and wait and get an 05 plated car.

I would be asking what they are going to do to compensate for the wait.Put it on them for mats,headlight protectors etc ,you get the idea ,for each delay.

I waited 5 months to get my BA XR8 auto when they were delayed so don't complain, it could be worse. Good things come to those who wait.

I ordered it January 2003 and didn't get it until July 2003. It was one of the first auto XR8's though.
